What Does a Post Graduate Diploma Mean?

Post graduate diploma in management (PGDM) is offered by institutes not affiliated to any university. The institutes are autonomous and they are approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). While PGDM does not follow university curriculum, the pgdm courses are more industry oriented and cater to the industry demands of today.
